  1. Music

I spend about 90% of my day either listening to music, singing, humming, or dancing to a song inside my head. I will listen to, and enjoy, almost anything and have an appreciation for so many genres – I guess that’s what you get from growing up in a musically inclined family.

  1. My Family

I remind myself every day how incredibly blessed I am to have such an incredible support system. I know that I would not be where I am without them. Growing up as an only child in a single parent home has taught me so much about love, the value of relationships, and always being present for those that I care about.

  1. Being Surrounded by Nature

As I grow older, I realize how important it is for both my body and soul to be somewhere where I am surrounded by greenery. There is something so essential about

  1. Eat, Pray, Love

This book has taught me so much about being human and being comfortable with imperfection. It has taught me about love, about giving ourselves the freedom be open, to be broken, and to be present in the moment – always. A couple years ago my mom (lovingly) forced it on me and I couldn’t be more happy that she did.

  1. My Monthly Planner and the Art of Color Coding

I don’t know what I would do without my monthly planner (and my larger scale white board monthly planner for that matter) and a mass amount of colored pens to organize my crazy schedule. Three jobs and graduate school (I am working on my k-12 visual arts licensure) definitely keep life interesting!

  1. Allowing for Time to be Creative

Sometimes it is hard to find the time to sit down and allow myself an opportunity to create but, as an artist it is essential to my wellbeing. I am looking forward to starting some new projects here in the near future! www.sharonteuscher.com

  1. Candles

Who doesn’t love candles? Between the warm ambiance and all of the beautiful scents I have an abundance.

If you haven’t been over to Brother’s Drake, GO NOW. The atmosphere is incredible and the mead is quite possibly the best thing I have ever tasted. Another bonus? They focus on utilizing local and organic ingredients in all of their recipes.

Come to think of it… it’s just about time I make a visit.

I love my microns. I use them all the time whether it is for hand-lettering or creating detailed pen and ink drawings.

  1. My MacBook Pro

I know, I know, how 21st century of me to say. In all honesty though, I depend on my computer for so many things. I am not sure I would survive in society without it…
